Built by a Collector, For the Hobby

FTH was not built in a boardroom. It was built between card shows, late-night breaks, and one too many "just one more pack" moments.

Every feature exists because a real collector needed it and nothing else had it. Show Mode came from the burden of carrying around a card case at a card show and imposing on a seller's table space. Magic Scan came from cataloging thousands of cards by hand.

This app is not a side project for a tech company. It is a daily driver for the person who built it.

Is FTH really free?

Yes. The free download includes Magic Scan, financial tracking, unlimited collections, Show Mode, portfolio dashboard, CSV import/export, iCloud sync, and more. FTH Pro unlocks advanced features like unlimited market price lookups, batch scanning, advanced analytics, and sales reports. You can pay monthly, annually, or one time for life. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase. There are no ads anywhere in the app.

What sports are supported?

Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, golf, tennis, boxing, MMA, wrestling, racing, and more. 13 sports total, with TCG support on the roadmap.

Does Magic Scan work offline?

Yes. The scanner runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Point your camera at any card back and it extracts the player, year, brand, set, and card number. No internet required, no images uploaded. The app also supports barcode scanning for graded card slabs — scan a PSA slab barcode and the app retrieves cert details automatically (internet required for cert lookup).

Is my collection data private?

Your collection data is stored locally using Core Data and syncs to your personal iCloud via Apple CloudKit. There are zero ad frameworks in the app. The app uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-focused analytics that collects no personal data, no device IDs, and no IP addresses. Certain features like market price lookups and cert lookups send only card details to third-party services — no personal information is ever transmitted. You can lock the app with Face ID or Touch ID and export everything to CSV at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I import from a spreadsheet?

Yes. CSV import lets you bring cards from spreadsheets or other apps. The Column Mapping Wizard lets you match your spreadsheet columns to FTH fields during import, so your data maps correctly regardless of format. You can also export your entire collection to CSV at any time.

What is FTH Pro and what does it cost?

FTH Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks advanced features including unlimited market price lookups, batch scanning, advanced analytics, sales reports, and more. You can pay monthly, annually, or one time for life. Pricing is displayed in the app before purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. You can try the free version with no time limit — there is no trial that expires.

Can I scan graded slabs?

Yes. When you scan a graded card, the app detects the barcode on PSA slabs and automatically looks up the cert number to retrieve the grade, card description, and year. This saves you from manually entering grading details. Currently PSA is supported via their official API. BGS, CGC, and SGC do not offer public APIs at this time.

Can I find card shows near me?

Yes. The Discover tab includes a card show finder that lists upcoming shows with dates, locations, and details. If you allow location access, shows are sorted by distance so you can see what is closest. You can also browse by state or date without sharing your location.

Can I track what I want to buy?

Yes. The Wishlist feature lets you save cards you are looking for. Add cards to your wishlist with details like target price, and check them off as you find them. It is a great tool for set builders and collectors hunting specific cards at shows.

Do I need to create an account?

FTH uses Sign In with Apple, so you can get started with one tap. No passwords to remember, no email forms to fill out. Apple handles authentication and lets you choose whether to share or hide your email address.
